Support Work

NDIS Support Work Services

I provide NDIS Support Work for participants with complex needs, particularly where mental health, disability, risk, and involvement with multiple systems intersect. This is structured, consistent support focused on stability, daily functioning, and capacity-building.

This service suits participants who require more than “drop-in” support — including people managing significant mental health challenges, complex behaviours, housing instability, and/or current legal and compliance requirements.

Support Work may include:

  • structured routine-building and day-to-day stability support
  • emotional regulation support and practical strategies to reduce escalation
  • support to attend appointments (clinical, allied health, housing, Justice-related where relevant)
  • support with community access and pro-social engagement
  • capacity-building around health, wellbeing, and independent living skills
  • support during periods of instability, transition, or increased risk

Who this support is for

  • participants with moderate to severe mental health challenges
  • participants with multiple diagnoses and complex disability presentations
  • participants involved with Housing, Health, Police, or Justice systems
  • participants with treatment, guardianship, or forensic orders (where support work is appropriate and within scope)
  • participants who need consistent, structured support to maintain stability and follow through on goals

Experience that matters

  • over 20 years’ experience supporting people with complex needs across high-risk environments
  • extensive experience with complex mental health presentations, multiple diagnoses, and challenging behaviours
  • strong systems experience across Justice, Housing, hospitals, police, community mental health, and specialist allied health services
  • calm, risk-aware practice informed by long-term work in Community Corrections and related settings

My approach

  • structured, consistent and reliable
  • risk-aware and trauma-informed in practice
  • clear communication and predictable boundaries
  • focused on practical outcomes and capacity-building
  • professional engagement with services and stakeholders where required

This service is designed for participants who need steady support to maintain stability, reduce risk, and build the skills and routines that make daily life more manageable.
